Guest Speaker!

A very big THANK YOU to Jennifer (Jona's Mum, from Ms Ishbel's class) who came to talk with all the Kindergarten children this morning about recycling and reusing. Jennifer has a fabulous shop SMATERIA and she showed us how they use plastic bags and tetrapak to make their awesome bags and accessories. The children were amazed at how the products were made and even more amazed at what the products were made out of!

Our recycling tree has made it to over 50 leaves!!

The children have been doing an amazing job at bringing in items from home to recycle. Then once morning tea and lunch are finished the children have lots of items to add as well. We are already half way there! We are now looking at the different things we have in each recycling box and discussing the different ways that we can use them. We have loads of ideas, there are lots of very creative thinkers in our class ;-)
