It was great to see almost all of the children back at school today! They all had so much to share about their holidays and we spent lots of time this morning listening to each other sharing their exciting adventures. We also wrote in our Journal Writing books, take a look.
We have started the New Year in our class with a new student also. We are very happy to welcome Panha to our class. He is learning to find his way around the school and all the different routines that we have. The children are being great helpers and are very happy to have another friend in our class.
And as it is a New Year we decided to make some New Year's resolutions!
The children had some really great resolutions - we first talked about what resolutions are and then we all had a think about what we might do. The children each got a star and drew a resolution and together we wrote it on the back of the star and hung it on our tree. It is fantastic!
