What Is The Best Part Of Me?

These images have been shared with family members via Seesaw but I also wanted to share what other educators think of our class work! As you will see down the side tab of our class blog we also have a twitter account running. I posted some of these beautiful images to share with other teachers around the world. Here is what they had to say :-)

Going further with our Unit of Inquiry - 'Where We Are In Place And Time'
What is the best part of you?
#Inspired by the stunning images from the book 'Best Part of Me' we delved deeper to extend our thinking to create our own beautiful images with an important message.
We want to encourage self esteem and diversity in our class!

Amazing job everyone! Beautiful pictures matched with thoughtful thinking.

We have been creating 3D shapes this week in Maths. We shared some of our creations on Seesaw.

We hung out with our buddies and had a great game of hide and seek.

We also helped our friend Ivy celebrate her seventh birthday! A very happy birthday to you Ivy and thanks for sharing the delicious cake with us.

Have a Great weekend everyone!

  1. Grade 1! I love all of your "best parts"! Your took great photos of each other. I can see that you really thought very deeply about how to describe your best part. The words you chose really were very descriptive.
I am going to ask Ms. Kelly to help me choose some to put up in the Elementary Office, and I know that Ms. Dana would like to have some of them up in our piazzas too!
I hope you all feel really proud of this piece of work!

    1. Thank you for the very nice comment Ms Paula. We enjoyed thinking about our 'Best Parts' and thinking about how we could take a photo of our best parts. We thought hard to describe why we love these best parts.

We are very excited to know that our work will be in the Elementary Office and the Piazzas! We are very proud of this :-)
