Experiments and Buddies

This afternoon we got to visit another classroom for a weather experiment. This time it was Ms Rachelle's class where we got to make a wind vane. The children were extremely excited to do another experiment and even got to test theirs out. By all accounts the wind was blowing from the North :-) 

The children again worked in pairs or in groups so not everyone got to take a wind vane home. But now that they are experts in making them I'm sure they will be able to show you at home how to make it.

I dear say all of our rain gauges from yesterday will be well and truly full after this extremely heavy rain too!! WOW!! 

A highlight of the week is always hanging out with our Grade 5 buddies. Today we only had a short time at the end of the day to see them so we decided that we would have them visit our class and join us for some Maths and Language games.
